The Kitchen Herbalist Classes are Back at Four Winds Farm this Summer, led by Deborah Lee and Terri Hanlin

Each class will lead us on a unique journey of exploring with free-growing "weeds" and many common culinary herbs.

Enjoy 1 or more of 5 unique Saturday classes, starting June 1st and going until September 21st. Each class will be unique, regarding what herbs we collect, study, clean, sip, eat, and prepare for take-home use.  Class time is 9 am - 4 pm. A light lunch and beverages are provided. In addition to this: each class will allow time for you to harvest a floral bouquet to take home; and of course, various herbal preparations.

June 1st 9am-4pm

Explore Dandelion, Plantain, Burdock, Elder, and a few more weeds that have been used and honored for centuries. We will discuss the plants that Pioneers brought from their country to the "New Land" and why. We will also collect a few culinary herbs; then: study, clean, and prepare several beverages, and also make a tincture and a wound salve.
